Hey all!

First off, I want to thank everyone for always being so helpful! I always know that people are in the same boat as me and many can give unbiased advice unlike the advisors at school (who want you to pay the school more money!)

So I am almost (one month!) in completely my physics and gen chem for the year at northwestern's post bacc. I already quit my full time job that I wish I had done so much sooner as it took a toll on the grades 🙁 My question is, our program is hard and I'm not so in love with it. There is another 4 year college, Northeastern (for ppl in the chicago area that know our universities) does not have the name NU carries at all but it is a 4 year university and the price is much, much cheaper. I was thinking of completing my orgo, bio, anatomy, biochem, microbio sequence there. What do you all recommend? I am more worried that going from a great school to a lower status one will alert admissions people but I do think I have a better chance at doing well and the cost is a factor too. I wish I went there first!

Thanks all!

go where is cheaper and you can achieve a better GPA. You can make up for going, per se, a lower tier school by doing more ECs (I'm guessing since it's easier, you could spend more time other than studying).
