I am an incoming intern starting residency in July in Army. As the title says, I am contemplating whether I should switch to another specialty which did not fill and never fills every year. It would be going from more competitive specialty to a lesser competitive one.
But aside from that, is it too late now to switch specialty ? How can I find out more about this and what the options are? Anyone has heard about cases like this before? The specialty I am considering to switch to is available at the same location of the residency I matched to and starting in July.
