I am an FMG who practiced both Peds and IM outside the US, but Peds is my passion. I went through the match last year for both specialties and prematched to an IM program which I took. Given FMG status, I was grateful for this. I am doing well there, but am seriously missing Pediatrics. I would welcome switching into a Peds program or Med Peds as a pgy1 or 2 if thats possible. Open spots seem few and far in between. Any advice?
