Hey guys, so since I discovered my passion for medicine I have been attending a lot of symposiums and educational events, usually focused on a specialty of oncology and next week focused on updates on the field of neurology. I love going to these events and hearing from the physicians themselves discuss future medical therapies and discoveries. Furthermore, if I can make connections with physicians at these events that makes them all the much better. My question is do you guys have any suggestions on how I can put this on my resume or is this just a good talking point in interviews for medical school?

It's not an accomplishment

Go if you enjoy them

I totally know what you mean and I really miss being at an academic center for those reasons. We had all kinds of grand rounds and specialty lectures it was awesome!

But it's not something to put on a resume. It's possible you could drop it in an interview, but it'd have to be natural and in line with the discussion otherwise I'm picturing someone awkwardly and obviously trying to force this in to the discusssion and having it look pretty bad.
