Hello all,
Is there a protocol somewhere that shows how scientists synthesize insulin?
Thanks
Are you sure it was Google and not Yahoo? lolDo you think SDN would be the first place I go to? I tried google and I can't find anything and was wondering if someone had a better website too look into.
Their pancreas does it for most of them.
It seems to.Does it show the steps? I found tons of website that just give an idea on how it's done but not Like a protocol of what's needed and the steps to synthesize it. I'm on my phone so the website doesn't show anything, I'll check it later. Thanks

Oh that's why! This is why the US needs universal healthcare, so we don't have random SDN'ers making their insulin in their basement.

aware.Insulin. Not even once.

OP, all you need to do is find a little bit of pure insulin (maybe around 10 mL is good) and mix it in with some bacteria plates you swabbed from under your shoe. This gives the best random distribution of bacteria available which is what you want. Place both the bacteria and insulin in a styrofoam cup and shake vigorously. Let the cup sit for about 5 days in a room temperature environment. Voila. You have successfully produced insulin from genetic recombination. No need for any fancy lab equipment. The bacteria you used will kill any other bacteria available in the mixture, producing a pure insulin mixture. I think this is called positive feedback or something.
No need. The bacteria take care of everything. The reason the random distribution of bacteria works is because you get smart and dumb bacteria all in one mixture. The smart bacteria do all the dirty work so you don't have to.You forgot the serial dilution steps.
Homeopathic bathtub insulin is way more effective and has far fewer toxins
