So T cells are formed in bone marrow, then educated in immunocompetence and self-tolerance in the thymus gland, then released into bloodstream.
But are the T cells "educated" during our childhood and before adulthood? Does this mean all possible kinds of T cells you'll have in adulthood are formed and educated in childhood and in adulthood it's a matter of activation of differentiation of the appropriate T cell once it comes in contact with an antigen?
Also, when T (and B for that matter) cells multiply and differentiate in response to activation by CD4 T cells, do these product cells not go through the same "education" process the parent cells did?
