Would you guys recommend this training to enhance chances in cardiology !? What are the Pros and cons ? Thx

Pros you can do research and fight for grants to answer mostly meaningless questions that have little impact on clinical care.

Cons you have to do research, salary takes a huge hit, more than 99% of what you do is garbage.

Waste of time (most require 2-3 year commitment) unless you’re a weak candidate. You’d be treated as cheap labor to do research for attendings.
