How do you go about getting a book scanned to pdf format?

you can get the binding cut and then just use a regular scanner, but with the popularity of ebooks these days its just easier to buy the books.

I wouldnt mind an ipad 2 when it comes out if it comes with a GOOD version of onenote.

That said as a heads up. Microsoft is coming out with Windows 8 around the end of 2011 I believe and its being optimized to run on the same chips that are coming out for tablets and smartphones. Which hints that Microsoft is going to be making a big push for better tablets pc's. Which means a great windows tablet with microsoft office and a good version of onenote. That should serve all my note taking needs in med school perfectly.
