Last year Simul started thread on the ipad but from reading the thread I didn't get a good feel for any verdict. And of course technology rapidly evolves and now we have the ipad 2 and honeycomb tablets on the market so I thought I would revisit the issue.
Do resident/attendings who have bought a tablet find it useful (did you buy one Simul)? Or did it end up not fitting your workflow? If you do find it useful what do you use it for?
Secondly, for work purposes iOS vs android? At my medical school you could access EMR on iOS but not android. Is that fairly universal? My impression is that android will be a strong competitor in the tablet market but the platform still needs time to mature and gain better 3rd party support (aka apps).
