Would it hurt me to take a bio class that covers "Metabolism and energetics, structure and function of biomolecules, cell structure and function, animal development" at a community college before I enroll at the UW (seattle) as a freshman? When I say "hurt" I mean it in two ways. First would adcoms look down on it since it's a pre-req for most dental schools (this would be the only science pre-req I would be taking at a C.C.). Second would it screw me up when taking the DATs because by the time I take the DATs I'll probably have forgotten a lot of the stuff (or is it easier than I think to stick the stuff back in your head before taking the test). I appreciate all the comments. Thanks 🙂

So I shouldn't take the class over summer at a C.C?

If you read your title: the answer the last post indicated answered your original question. Yes, take it, it will help you. Yes, you may forget some stuff, but believe me, once you start studying for the DAT, it will all come back. Good luck!
