My overall GPA is 3.34 and I am only taking 13 credits this semester. I might be getting a C,D, or an F in my lab this semester and it's worth 2 credits. Assuming I get A's in all my other class and an F in my lab my GPA would be 3.35. My science GPA is already too low: 2.9 and I don't want my lab to hurt it. Should I stay in the class and hope to get a C or take a W?

The only problem is that i am taking 13 credits right now and if I drop this I will be at 11. I would not be considered full time..

It's not a big deal unless it's because of insurance and you won't have it because you dipped to part-time or something.

Adcoms like to see full-time in terms of 15-18 credits; not the minimum 12. The amount of credits you are taking isn't that huge. But I don't know anything else about your situation so you could be working full-time too and doing tons of EC which would make up for that.

Don't lose sleep over it. Just my personal opinion.

Take the "W", the alternative is making it significantly more difficult to get into dental school. Choose your poison. I had a few Ws in undergrad.

My school is saying that I would still be considered at full-time. But I am not so sure. If I were to be part-time, would that stop me from applying to dental schools this cycle or the next?
