BOTH TAKE CS AND PE?!

Hello I am a DO student who will be applying to acgme residencies. My question is do I need to take the CS if I passed PE? My usmle step 1 scores are better than comlex so I am hoping that programs will overlook my lower comlex level 1 scores in lieu of usmle step 1, but does that mean that I should take STEP 2 CS as well?

From what I have heard, no. The CS and PE are just income for these organizations and a formality that we have to go through. Plus there is no grade and no way to compare between students.
