I know SDN is going to love this question....yea yea eat it up...

but..

if you were junior level, sitting with a 4.0....would you take a B in a 1 credit hour class or your first W?

Just want to hear some of your opinions 😛

don't waste your time taking your class again. Worry about something more important like the DAT. Whats gonna send a red flag is if you get a 4.0 and can't even get a 20+ on the DAT. Then you should be worried.

Just wanted to hear some other input.....I'm debating it. Just sucks after getting this far and working so hard and when your 3/4 done you might get a B. Sounds silly....I should be grateful, but it still sucks. 😕

Georgio, I'm going to be working on that DAT studying allllllll summer 😀

Getting pretty serious over there at LSU, Dr. Ritchie came and talked to us and he said the average GPA for acceptance jumped from around a 3.5 to a 3.67 😱

Even if you take pride in your 4.0, if you have a W it is a false 4.0.

Take the B and move on!

I'm going to go against the grain and tell you to take the W.

At your interview, you're gonna be asked about your strength and weakness. The answer to both of those questions would be: I am a perfectionist.

if you got that B, you can't use that answer.

Also. If they ask about the W, just say that your dog died that semester.

He told us that, and the average DAT was around a 20's. But if you look at the ada guide it says average is like a 3.56 and dat was right below 19 so maybe he is just trying to motivate us! And supposedly he is retiring after this year.

Right now about 40% of all in state applicants are getting accepted. A 3.9+ would put you in top 10% at the minimum lol. It's all about the dat and chalk carving now! As well as not being anti social of course lol.
