Taking a 100 level course as a senior ?

So I'm a senior this year and so far I'm in all 300-400 level classes for this semester. But a 100 level political science really interests me. So I want to enroll in but I just hope it doesn't hurt my chances at medical school. Would this hurt my application?

Not at all. Senior year is when you should take classes you enjoy if you are done with prerequisites and major requirements

As long as it doesn't seem like GPA padding you'll be fine. One class during senior year will not give off this impression.
