Taking a class somewhere else?

I want to take a summer class (Cell Bio) at some other college which just turned into a 4 year college recently (before it was a community college). I cannot take this class at my college because my roommate is leaving and I will have to pay $600/month ($1200 for the entire summer) if I live by myself. As of now, I cannot find another roommate. If I take this class at that other college, I can stay at home during summer and commute. Anyways, I just wanted to know if this will look bad. Is it better not to take any summer classes or med schools really won't care as long as I get an A?

Don't worry that it will look bad. Take the class at the local school and get an A. Conserving economic resources is important.
