Hey guys,

I understand that the MCAT may be revised and released beginning 2015, thus encouraging students to take a more diverse set of courses such as humanities, psychology, political science, etc. as opposed to upper level biology classes.

Many med. schools, especially here in Canada, want to make sure that students can handle a rigours course load. However, I was thinking that in case I had to ever re-take the MCAT (I will be doing it in 2014), that it would be a good idea to have some of these other non-science classes under my belt.

I am just curious as to how medical schools will see a student that is in their third or fourth year taking entry-level political science or psychology courses (often pre-reqs for upper levels).

Thanks for the help,
Lunasly.

For my intro to psychology class, I went to every lecture, did exactly 0 hours of studying, and got an A.

Pad your GPA you grade padder! 😀

Hahaha 😛 You see that last bit of your part makes me think that I will look like a weak applicant, but then again you are already in medical school.
