Taking A&P I and II for one school

Hey y'all, I am applying to dental school this cycle, and have essentially finalized my school list. One of the schools that I am applying to is UNC as an out of state student, but I haven't taken any anatomy's yet and they require two semesters of it. Is it worth taking a year of anatomy solely for one school on my list, even if it is in my top 3? Thanks in advance!

If i was you, I'd take it regardless of if schools require it because it will really help you out having seen some of the material before you take gross anatomy as a D1.

I agree with the answer above me. I think it would be really helpful to take before..plus if you do well, it'll be a nice boost to your science GPA..knock two birds with one stone 🙂

Taking anatomy in undergrad helps a ton. I would say that every pre-health student who has access to an anatomy class should take it.

TAKE IT. I was practically crying myself to sleep all of first semester D1 because I was learning anatomy for the first time and had no idea what was going on.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, I decided I will take at least 1 semester of Anatomy before starting D1. The dental community is the f***ing best, hella quick responses!

Anatomy class will really help you in dental school. If you take it now, it'll give you a headstart for the future. So, you should take it.
