taking class in spring

I'm planning on retaking organic I in the spring since I got a C in it and want to improve my chances. I've already sent in my secondaries to many schools but I was wondering if it's even worth it. I wouldnt finish the class until next may and I dont know how many seats will be left by that time. What should I do? Will taking the class hurt me? will it matter? I just dont want to be put on academic hold until may because I'm taking a class in the spring.

Himm. If it were me, I would not retake because I don't want to be put on hold. Are the rest of your science grades good? When did you take Organic?

Sign up for the class and if you have an acceptance by then, you can just drop it.

It's one of only two c's I got in science courses. Granted it's a C- but I want to show that I'm always trying to improve myself. However, I dont want to screw myself by taking the class in the spring. Thanks for the input Tex

I think some schools do not accept C- for prereqs.

You're correct. I know OSU doesn't take anything below a C. Strange that 1 point can make that much difference.
