Taking DAT August 7th vs. 14th

Hi, I am a non-traditional student, and am planning to take DAT in August. I have been preparing for it, and I am debating whether I will take it on August 7th or 14th. It just a week difference, but I am wondering if that one week will make any significant difference in terms of application process and test preparation...?

1 week.... in terms of test preparation it depends if you have been studying for 4 weeks or 3 months. 4 weeks could be enough. 3 months= just take the damn thing becuase one more week wont help.

For the application process... the earlier the better.
