I am not applying this cycle but I was going to take the DAT in advance in september. But I'm not sure what I should do about sending scores to schools.....because if I don't select any schools now I will have to pay $25 for each school when I am applying next year. Should I just send it to every school? But would the schools have my DAT scores on file for the next cycle....I'm so confused. Please help

Send it to the 5 free schools. Select the schools you are most likely to apply to.

Go ahead and take it early! Seriously, I took mine in January before the summer I applied and it was such a stress reliever to have it over and done with and I enjoyed my spring semester. Just designate the 5 free ones but don't pay extra yet to send to any others. Pick the ones you are most likely to apply to, like your state schools. The scores, to my knowledge, don't get sent right away, but rather, it is on record that they will be sent when you submit your AADSAS next summer. Hope that helps!
