Hey guys, I'm new to SDN, and I plan on taking the DAT's this winter. I want to condense as much stuff as I can in about.. 6 weeks. I've been looking at these forums, but I'm confused as to what you guys suggest actually works.
So far, I am thinking of investing in DAT destroyer, cliffs bio, topscore, and chad's videos.

What do you guys think? What do you think sufficiently prepared you guys the most? Are there any more that I should add to my list?
Also, where did you guys buy all these materials from?
Thank you!

Check out the polls in my signature. They will give you a good idea of what you should invest in. I would highly recommend adding Crack DAT PAT and Math Destroyer to your list. Good luck!👍

hey i just finished mine and got 21AA i studied for about 6weeks using materials that you posted up there. PM me if you are interested buying some DAT materials or asking me about how i studied.
I have destroyers(DAT,MATH), cliff bio, kaplan review book, examkrackers (chem, org), and some others. let me know

Make sure to get: 2007/2009 ada practice tests, CrackDatPAT, math destroyer

Other than that, looks like those materials will get you a 20+ if you study hard. Goodluck👍

also just google them. Cliff's AP bio, chad's Dat videos, usually first or second link.

Get some practice tests. Take one every once in a while. Just don't go bonkers when you can't score a 30 on your first try ! 😱

^^ I'm not really sure where to get more practice exams from.
Also, what is the difference between math destroyer and the math portion of the DAT destroyer?

Thanks!

another question, sorry guys!
how did you guys do the chemistry part without a scientific calculator on the DAT's?

Get good and comfy with mental math? Honestly there isn't that much Math. Memorize log based 10 of 0-9 to calculate pH etc. without a calculator. Don't worry about it, once you do a practice test or two you'll realize the math isn't the difficult part of the Sciences section.

As for Math Destroyer, I am pretty sure it is more of the same. Maybe a few more challenging questions or organized by subject matter. But if you're good at math, Destroyer should be more than sufficient. I personally think Math Destroyer is a waste since you can buy entire practice tests for less money.

I just recently finished and I would recommend crack dat pat. I unfortunately didn't use it and my PAT suffered. I made a 20 PAT but I know I could have no better if I would have had better practice with hole punches and angles. The other practice test aren't even close to what the real dat is like. But from many people i've talked to the crack dat pat is close to the real thing. Good luck. study hard, dont get discouraged and youll be fine.

Not to hijack the thread but I thought Achiever had EXTREMELY good PAT tests. CDP is the correct predictor due to scores being closer, but if you can do Achiever tests with a decent score, you're fine. I only got 17-18 on most Achiever PATs and I scored 23 on the real thing. It is way harder than anything you'll see but no tricks work on Achiever like this line counting that works for CDP.

EDIT: I'd like to add though that if you only want to spend money on one thing and only for PAT, CDP is the thing to get. If you want best use of money, Achiever >> CDP. I got both and I can't imagine going without either.
