thanks to all of you who suggested all these nice books
Destroyer, Kaplan, Barron's, and Achiever.
after reading Kaplan Twice I bought the Destroyer and I did all the questions but i sucked at it..so i spend 2 months studying only The destroyer, which i thought it had great questions, but hard. So now, i can answer all the questions with eyes closed, but 3 days ago i bought the Achiever. The first test was good, PAT was very hard though. I just finished the Second test and God was it hard or what? So now i'm panicing big time, there is no way for me to go back and reschedule....please someone tell me that the DAT is not that hard if you know how to do all the problems in the destroyer. I'm having a nervous break down.

It's really not that bad... You'll see how much easier it is than the practice stuff when you take it on Monday

the second and third tests on DAT achiever are definitely more challenging than the first, and are def. harder than the actual exam. Don't worry.

Hi,

I know how you feel. I am taking the DAT on Saturday, December 9,2006. I have been studying for 4 months and took the DAT Achiever tests and scored in the low teens. What were your scores? Just like you, I also feel that I am not prepared. But, what can we do since our tests are coming up soon. The thing that I am saying to myself is to go in there on Saturday and be confident that I have studied and try to answer the questions to the best of my knowledge. We will come out on top. Stay strong and we will both do fine.

dont worry so much about your scores on the practice tests. they tend to be more difficult than the actual test. good luck

i'm takin the exam tomorrow (monday) so i'll think of you! 😉 the first time i took i freaked, scored an 18, so now i'm much more prepared psychologically! hope it works!
