I haven't taken botany, evolution or ecology but am taking the DAT this summer. Are there any shortcuts to learning this material?? I'm currently reading up on these topics on my own. I'm not a science major.

You don't really need to take those courses in order to do well on the DAT. I learned pretty much just what was in the Kaplan Blue Book and I did fine in the science section.
