So I go to a pretty small school on the east coast. and becuase of it being so small it offers most classes once a semester. i won't be able to take general chem 2 till my second semester of my senior year. will that be a problem during applying due to the fact that its a pre req course

Yes, I believe that might be an issue. However, the real issue is when you plan on taking both Organic Chemistry courses as I assume (let me know if I am wrong) Gen Chem 2 is a pre-req for Organic Chem. You need those for the MCAT as well as for admission into Podiatry Medical school.

You can have pre reqs in progress. I got a conditional acceptance and I had not finished my second semester of orgo or physics. As long as you do not completely bomb the courses you will get a full acceptance when you send them your final transcripts.

Agreed. YOu can get interviews and they may offer you a conditional acceptance (you have to get X grade in this course to be accepted to our school)... Its not a huge problem. Just do well.
