Well then I guess I'm boned, because I've taken 12 for about half the semesters I've gone to school.

To the OP: It would probably depend on what else you have been doing. Are you volunteering? Do you play a sport? Do you have a near full time job? They don't want to see you just laying around, doing nothing I would assume, but as long as you are still showing initiative in other areas of your life combined with school, I don't think they will be too concerned with it
