Taking it later, will the test be harder?

just wondering, since I do plan on taking the exam second week of july, when most students arent taking it. will the step 1 be 'harder" ? one of the reasons i'm doing this is because we got out late and dont start until august.

It's not going to be in any way, shape, or form harder.... The 'curve' for step 1 has already been established years before... This is the reason why you can take the test at any time during the year and get your score back with an accurate correlation of your rank/percentile. Remember, the set of questions you receive is completely randomized from their bank of thousands of questions.
