Taking lab without the lecture

I am considering taking Organic II lab next semester. However I have not taken Organic II lecture yet. I this reasonable or should I just wait?

I think it depends on what your lab is like. I took orgo I lab after already taking orgo I & II lecture and I definitely needed to have some of the concepts from the lecture for weekly quizzes and a written final exam. Other than that, the actual experiments and lab reports were fine, so if your lab doesn't have many quizzes or written exams I think you would be okay.

Is there any particular reason why you would do this? If not, I would probably just wait. If anything, I would take lecture without lab first, and then lab, not vice versa.
