Hey guys. Took my MCAT on June 29. I may need to retake bc of how I feel about CARS. I have pre-written all my secondaries and submitted my primary app on June 1.

If I get under 507 I will likely retake. However, I still want to submit my app with a mediocre MCAT.

If I submit my secondaries with a mediocre MCAT and retake my MCAT in August, will schools not look at my app at all until the new one is in?

Schools are under no obligation to wait for a second MCAT and can evaluate you based on the existing score. You have already taken the MCAT late with a score showing up late, which I am not a fan of. Now you want to rush taking a second one very late in the cycle, which I believe is a very bad idea for most applicants.

Ok this is good news for me! So they will evaluate me regardless if I retake after submitting my secondaries or not correct? And I could get an II while waiting for my second score?

I feel you may want re-read his post and really digest what he's telling you...
I understand exactly what he’s saying. He said I’m not in a good position bc a late MCAT, which I know, so don’t take one later blah blah blah.

But this was not my question. My question was will ADCOMS review, consider, and possibly send me an II while I’m waitin for a new MCAT score.

So this is great news for me if what he said was accurate.

If you believe you’re in a position to receive IIs, why would you ever consider retaking the MCAT??
because this person is just looking for answers to suit what he's already decided on, so he or she will spin the responses to meet needs even though they do the exact opposite

I’m applying to Ontario schools in addition to US schools which heavily focuses on CARS scores. My sciences were consistently 130’s but my CARS was low. If I don’t score at least 127 in CARS I’ll have to retake for Ontario, but it could still be more than enough for US schools

Schools may or may not evaluate your app before your next MCAT score comes in; each one is different. You probably won't be able to edit the section on AMCAS that allows for notifying schools of your intention to send another MCAT (maybe you can e-mail schools individually about this? Anyways, check AMCAS first cuz I'm not sure).

Ok thank you. I think unlike most ppl I DONT want US schools to know I would be retaking a new MCAT. If I don’t indicate I’m retaking and don’t email them, will they find out somehow?

Yes, AMCAS updates MCAT scores in real time.
Closing.
