Hey guys,

Over the last several weeks I have received 30 secondaries and while I have tried to submit as many as I can within 2 weeks I don’t that I will be able to meet that deadline for all the school I have applied to. Does it look bad if you take more than 2 weeks to submit a secondary?

How soon after submitting your primary --> schools, did you receive secondaries? Was there a long delay between the primary and seconadary requests?

You'll be fine. It's still early on. It's better to submit a polished and finished product within a few weeks, rather than one with mistakes within some arbitrary time frame. Only some schools say that they prefer a turnaround time within two weeks, so try to prioritize those first. Check the schools' websites to see which ones.

Thanks, yeah it is only going to be 3-4 schools and I would prefer not to rush them.

Everyone needs to pump the breaks on the 2 week thing. Programs do not care. There is not a timestamp saying you took 3 weeks, therefore reject. It's more of a guidepost to encourage you not to delay for months. Also, life is better once you're done writing about that one time you were challenged in your life or how you provide diversity to a program.
