I've heard different things on the issue and I'd like some feedback. I've procrastinated taking my PE requirements, and I'm sure I could pass because I'm not terribly out of shape but I heard getting an A is pretty difficult.
Would it look bad? I just don't want to lower my GPA because I can't run fast enough.
It's not that big of a deal but I would like some feedback so I know what to tell my advisor before fall semester starts.
Thanks!

Well I'm not sure but at my school PE is only pass/fail
Can't you uncover the grade after? You should have an idea of how you do.

PE was only Pass/Fail at my school. Taking it Pass/Fail when a graded option is available will not be a problem for medical schools.

Awesome! Thanks. And at my school PE classes are graded but I think I will ask to take it as P/F. There is a deadline by which you need to inform them of the change so it's not like I could decide once my grade is posted.

Yeah, as long as it's not a med school pre-req and it's not a pattern (where you are taking tons of classes P/F) it shouldn't be a problem. We had to have a fine arts credit and I took a theater class, and ended up taking that P/F because I had a really busy semester and to prioritize my classes that really mattered. The theater class was fun but a lot of work I didn't have time for. I also had a P/F semester due to studying abroad (my college always graded study abroad classes as P/F and didn't use the grades from the college abroad - I just didn't take any prereqs during my study abroad because of this). Neither were an issue for me.
