As a pre dental student, I realize that I need a year a physics. However, my professor is an absolute prick (who is the only teacher btw) who loves not giving points where they should be. I'm looking at a low B if I'm lucky, but I really want to maintain/increase my sGPA. I could do that next semester by continuing to do well in my bio/chem classes with another bio elective in place of that physics 2. I don't mind taking physics 2 in the spring of senior year because I know i would PASS it, I just don't want to ruin my sGPA. Is that a bad way of looking at things? I could use some great advice right now while I'm registering for classes.

Wait to take it, its no big deal.

would that draw any red flags from the admissions committee?

No, it shouldn't. The prehealth advisors at my school recommend us to take our physics classes senior year in case it drags down our GPA. So long as you complete them before attending dental school, you will be fine.
