taking prepharmacy at cuny/suny

Hi, I'm a Hs junior and I want to become a pharmacist. I wanted to know is it good idea if i took prepharmacy at a Cuny(City university of NY) or Suny(State university of NY) since I am a NYC resident and I would save alot of money on tuition. Do pharmacy schools look down at Cuny schools? And are there any good Suny or Cuny schools for prepharmacy?
 
If you're willing to go up to Buffalo, they have a great pharmacy program ... and if you do your pre-reqs there, you have a much better shot of being accepted to the professional program ...
