Hey,

So online you can find NBME's 1-7, 11 which are not available publically. I am wondering if anyone has done them or recommends them?

The answer keys might not necessarily be 100% correct as they are user generated, but I also want to see if they are good practice regardless, or have been retired for a reason.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, your score will increase if you do the offline NBMEs. The writing style of some of the questions is a bit outdated, but they were once real USMLE questions regardless. I personally had two repeats on my real USMLE, including a graphing question, and another from NBME 4 IIRC. I also had a repeat image from one of the retired exams, so on the real deal I knew the diagnosis already, but it was a different question stem.

Just be aware that the answer keys you'll find online have random errors. Your best bet when reviewing answers is to search the forums. Often typing a sentence from a question stem + "NBME 5" or whichever exam it was, will lead you to a random page online with people talking about it.
