1. Didn't you already post this?Hi,
I'm a student at Emory University, and am really needing to take classes over the summer so I can raise my science GPA.

I'm a junior at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Recently, I found out that AMCAS gpa LUMPS all of your grades obtained from your current school (in my case Emory) as well as any other colleges (including any community college in us) you may have attended in the past, no matter which class, for what purpose, or how long ago you may have taken the class.
I've taken three classes (all math classes) at a local community school during sophomore year of high school in ordered to be placed in calculus. Ive obtained all A's, this significantly boosts my science gpa, since my science gpa at Emory is not very competitive (~3.3 ish).
So, this is is my question, can I continue to take random science/math classes outside of emory over the summer, let's say at a local state college, where it is relatively cheaper and easier to obtain higher grade and continue on boosting my AMCAS gpa. If I do this, I am fairly certain that at least my AMCAS gpa will become competitive. Will any of this be frowned upon?
That was not me. Jkim255 is my friend (we have different school emails if you look us up).
I'M not doing this because it's easier at the state school.
IKR?adkim and jkim? Wow, do you actually think we believe this?
