Hello!

Trying to decide whether to take the MCAT again. I'm at 89th percentile and if I could do just a little better then I could be in the 90th. However, all of the testing centers are full in my area until September 19th, which is after the due date. Is it still worth doing? Would it be considered in my application? Thoughts?

Thanks in advance 🙂

Your score is fine as it is. Why risk getting a lower score for a chance at one that is slightly higher?

The MSAR states the latest MCAT score that is considered by each school.

Don't retake it OP. We actually have the same score(513 right?) I'm disappointed too its no longer considered 90th percentile, but percentiles change all the time. Next year for all we know it could be the 91st percentile. Don't retake and risk it, you'd need to improve to like 518+ for it to be even worth it.
Btw, it's 89th technically, but 514 is 91st so I still plan on rounding up and telling people I'm a 90th percentile scorer.
