Taking too long to verify DAT scores?

Hi,

I took my DAT exam about two weeks ago and noticed that my official scores are not on my application yet. I called the ADA and ADEA and was told that it will take another week or two. I am a re-applicant and I remember last summer being a lot smoother and things being quicker. What is the deal? How long did your scores take?

Should I contact the schools about this or just patiently wait?

I retook my DAT 2 weeks ago as well. The last time it took exactly 2 weeks to verify although a lot of people on sdn say it could take 3 or more. I did contact a few schools most said to just wait but some accepted my unofficial scores so it might be worth your time to email some and see what they say.

It took 5 weeks for my gf's DAT to be verified, she took hers a couple days after the cycle opened. She wasn't happy about that lol

retook my DAT 7/30, processed date (sent to schools) 8/16, AADSAS accepted 8/17. Schools started emailing me that my file was complete on 8/16. ~About 13 business days.

First attempt was 6/27/15 and processed on 7/8/15 . ~About 8 business days.

Just a update my DAT was verified today exactly 2 weeks after I took it.

I came on here today to see if anyone else posted this exact question! I took my DAT on 8/7, which is 2 weeks + 3 days ago. I’ve been checking multiple times a day to see if they’ve been posted yet, so I’m wondering if everyone else is waiting longer too. The wait is intense. I’d rather be waiting for interviews than to know my file is sitting in a pile untouched until they arrive.

Hey, I totally get what you mean. It is taking forever. I am actually a re-applicant...when I applied last summer with my old DAT scores, it took 9-ish days for scores to verify. I wonder why things are so slow?

...and 3 hours later, I just received the email that my scores are verified! I signed on to ada.org and the status says scores were mailed yesterday, so schools should hopefully have all received them today. I feel more relieved now that I can relax and just wait for those interviews. Let's see how long I can last before I start fidgeting again.

I feel like the bulk of applicants are taking their DAT exams around this time, so maybe the heavier load of cases to review is starting to slow things down? Mine still completed within the 2-3 weeks timeframe as promised. 2 weeks + 3 days exactly.
