How do you go about requesting days off of full-time work for interviews? I have some interviews in the middle of the week and it is quite strange for me to take tues-wed-thurs off without a good reason.

Honestly, I don't think it's smart to come straight out and say that I am applying for medical school. I work in an industry where it's not customary to give more than 1 month heads up if you are planning to quit.

Any advice/feedback is appreciated.

Be honest. Try to take as little time of as possible

My boss knows I'm applying and that I require flexibility. However, I'm trying to schedule 1 interview per week because I can't be away from work for more than 3-4 days. Just be candid, and tell them what you require.

Are you afraid of getting fired? Med school interviews sounds like a good enough excuse.

Just tell them for personal reasons.

If they press you, tell them you are going to get your colon cleaned and are worried about being able to walk after your last experience.

You've earned your vacation days, you don't need to justify using them.
