Received a B in Calculus and now feel like ****. I want to go to a Top 10. Is this still possible
Nope, impossible. You got people to your left and right who are outworking you and you'll have nothing to show. How dare you aspire for Harvard or Stanford and get a B? You should be ashamed of yourself!

I also just want to say that you can have the "perfect" application and not get into a T10, or have something that you may think isn't perfect, and a T10 could take a liking to you. It's so random sometime, so don't try to obsess on little details. And don't let your worth be defined by getting into a T10 or not

Even a 4.0 GPA is not a guarantee you will make it into a Top 10.

If you don't get into a Top 10 , it won't be because of a B in calculus.

Well what's your overall GPA, then? A 3.8+ is definitely top 20 material.

Bs are not a bad thing. And calculus is definitely not easy. But your reaction to it is something that needs to be improved. I used to be like you. I cried when I got an A- in high school anatomy. Then throughout college I learned that I cannot be perfect. Grades are not everything. Even in medical school and applying for medical school, grades are not everything.
