i was hoping to include a bit more of my non-clinical volunteer experience in my application (i have 150 of clinical now, 300 of shadowing), but i didn't list it in my AMCAS since i wanted to include my most recent college activities and already had to exclude a few other things i've done. one of my high school non-clinical volunteer experiences was creating an organization to send supplies to orphans in haiti, which i did since i lost a parent at a young age and wanted to help people in a similar situation. while i myself have stopped organizing donation drives, someone else took over the organization and i've been consistently advising them since high school. would this be okay to write about in my AMCAS? i was hoping to address it in questions that ask if theres anything else i'd like to discuss, or how i'd contribute to the school (and i could say by using my struggles to help others, or something along those lines, with a casual discussion of the ~400 hours involved). i don't want it to make it seem like an afterthought because it really isnt; i just couldnt fit it all into the 15 AMCAS activities, and if they ask why i didn't include it there, i could say that. does this sound alright? thanks!

You could say that you didn't include it on AMCAS because it was primarily a HS activity.
