Hi all, I'm finishing up my activities/experiences section and had a question. One of my most meaningfuls is an MA experience with 1000+ hours, but I used most of the space allowed discussing how I did prior authorizations in the clinic. While I have plenty of stories I can use for clinical purposes, I felt this shows more impact because I took up the position that no one else wanted to do and showed significant progress in the role, directly helping patients. But I was worried that it may make it seem like I didn't do any clinical work and focusing too much on the administrative side. I wondered if anyone else had a similar experience or have thoughts on the matter. If anyone would be willing to read over the description I'd be grateful to get some advice that way as well. Thanks in advance.

Ngl you should talk about clinical stories and not about prior auths, make it all about the patients

I couldn't disagree more. The sad fact is that too much of medicine these days is getting those prior authorizations and knowing that, and having done it, tells me you have an idea of what medicine is likely to be like in the decades ahead.

Send me your statement by PM.
