Tampa Housing?

Hi all,
I will be doing an externship at Tampa Veterinary Specialists. Does anyone have any recommendations for hostels or other safe cheap housing in the area?

Unfortunately that part of tampa isn't the best part of town, however, you're not that far from Fowler ave, which is where a lot of housing and hotels are because a lot of students who live off campus stay around there and there are hotels there to because of the park that's down the road. Just don't stay anywhere along Busch blvd. that has to be one of the worst places in town. I would try and stay away from Dale Mabry because it's such a congested road. Bruce B Down isn't also the great road but there are alot along that road to look at. i've never heard anything bad about the Carrollwoood area which is just north of where you'll be working. Good luck finding a place!
