Has anyone had an interview w/ Target recently? Did you get an offer from Target and how long did it take for them to make an offer after the interview?
For those who are currently working for Target, how is their computer? Thank you for your input.

in simpler terms, its as ancient as systems can get....Dos based...supposedly moving to new system in texas this summer, but its been delayed so many times, and even the new system is not as amazing or powerful as walgreen or walmart...ive worked at all 3

I totally agree w/ you! Other major chains have cut their Tech help like there is no tomorrow; do you guys get enough Tech help still?

lol, we're #1 or 2 in the district about 1400ish /wk and get about 197 tech hours lol...which is a lot compared to these other companies, but their technology makes up for it

I can't find a nice word to describe PDX. It's ancient. It's quite embarrassing to be using it. Just image having to credit return each prescription before rerunning/editing a prescription 50 times a day. Yes, I actually spend time credit returning stuff all day (changing NDC, sig, everything). Something that can be done in a minute takes me 3 minutes to do (credit return, change what I need, run it through....) all day +pissed+ that's my life

That sounds nice. Good for you. We're at about +/-350/wk, nineteen hours A WEEK. I remember filling 40 prescriptions AN HOUR at CVS, but I don't miss those days. I just feel very inefficient right now, that's all...:d

Target does not invest in their pharmacies whatsoever. If you just want a paycheck they are the place to go.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Until you work for a company, it'a really hard to go on its reputation.

Let's just say the good old days at Target are over. The old rep of it being retail heaven is no longer true and who knows what's going to happen after this new system comes into play.
