I was wondering if anyone has accepted a new offer from Target since the CVS merger announcement. My husband was offered a part time position at Target that has benefits, but I am dubious as to whether CVS would a) keep him on as PT and b) provide benefits if they did indeed keep him on.

If your husband is employed by Target at the time of the merger, then he will have a job with CVS. CVS is offering positions to all Target Pharmacy team members

They have pledged to offer comparable jobs with comparable pay, but made no promises to provide benefits to part-employees. Currently CVS only offers benefits to full-time employees.
