Taus method - question about study:Q ratio

I am reading the document for the Taus method. In the runthroughs with study:Q, where do you do the questions from? From USMLEWorld or from some other source? And are you just getting a whole series of random questions, or questions focused towards the subject you are studying? Thanks.

I actually was curious about the Taus method and read up on it for the first time last night. I think in the first run through he recommends some paper based question series, specifically he mentions Kaplan's Qboook. I'm sure you can use BRS end of chapter questions and/or USMLE RX or another question source.

The most important part about the first run through is to apply the new information with targeted questions on the subject you just reviewed. It really doesn't matter the source, as long as it is USMLE-style.

I went fully into UW and USMLErx. I didn't bother with anything besides full usmle-style questions because I needed as much 'face-time' with multi-step and multi-discipline questions as time permitted. It creates a mindset where you start making connections and not necessary regurgitate facts.

I see. You mentioned in a previous post it's a good idea to do 'targeted' questions based on what you just studied. Does USMLErx allow you to generate a set of questions based on a particular subject? Would you consider the Kaplan Qbook to be a good source of questions? I read somewhere saying that Kaplan Qbank asks questions that are not quite representative of USMLE style.
