I just did my taxes, and I was unable to claim an earned income credit, because I am not 25, but I thought that if you were a student, you could claim it anyway. Does anyone know how that works?

Thanks for your help!

I'm pretty certain the minimum age to be eligible to file for the EIC is 25 regardless of your student status.

If you meet that requirement then another big requirement is that your maximum AGI can't exceed something like $15000.

That's about all I know.
