Taxonomy??!! overwhelming!

I was just reading through Taxonomy in clffs ap. and at the end of the chapter, i was like "dafox did i just read?"

there were so many obscure names that i just couldnt register in my brain. DAT Veterans, did u run into this problem while reading? how many questions should i expect to see from this chapter on the real thang?

Google Craig savage and watch his YouTube videos- he presents the material in a really clean, concise way and suggests methods for memorization along the way.

I don't recall any taxonomy questions the last 2 times I took the DAT so I would say don't waste your time.

I had 2 to 4 taxonomy/evolutionary lineage questions on my DAT, and it's definitely fair game. So I'd have an understanding of it. I'm going to concur with Free and recommend you watch Craig Savage's videos on taxonomy. He does a great job of breaking it down and does it an a step-wise process so that the evolutionary trends become crystal clear.
