TBG and free thyroid hormone levels

So certain things alter the level of TBG, ie cirrhosis decrease TBG. My question is why doesn't change in TBG, alter free thyroid hormone levels?? Can someone help me with this? Thanks!!

Coz when the free thyroid binds to the inc TBG, more is instantly released from the thyroid gland to compensate for the bound hormone. So the total Thyroid hormone inc but the free remains same!

I believe estrogen also affects TBG?

Estrogen inc TBG production that's y in pregnancy total T4 inc but free T4 remains same
