Hey everyone!
I've searched a lot for this but haven't gotten a clear answer. I took BR CBT 1 the other day and did exceptionally well( for me, at least lol) on the verbal. I thought the passages were easy to read but then I go read TPRH and EK and I'm like " wtf just happened?!" lol I know the BR verbal is not representative, but i was wondering about the cbts? For cbt 1 in general on all sections, how much harder, if at all, is it compared to the real deal? Thanks in advance!

TBR CBT1 is the easiest out of all of them. I myself got a 35 on the first one with a 13 in verbal. Unfortunately, the real exam is not like that. Don't worry too much about their verbal. It's all over the place and not consistent with the real mcat verbal. Just take it as a learning experience instead of an assessment with what you'll get on the real thing. Cheers!

Thank you!!! 🙂

Shameless bump! 🙂 anyone else???

I found the TBR verbal to be too straightforward for it to be representative of AAMC Verbal. It's decent, but not quite there. I do believe it's good for building endurance for the entire thing, and you get the TBR experience of PS/BS out of the test, so it's still overall good practice.

Hi, I am wondering which prep material is more representative of the real test - CBT practice tests, Kaplan's, or TPR?
I appreciate any insight on this.
Thanks,
Rainsun

In my opinion, CBT > TPR > Kaplan... but I haven't used too many of Kaplan's, so don't take my word as the end-all.
