A general request,
Trying to find a good review of the different TCAs. Given the continued knocking down of SSRI effectiveness, as well as positive effectiveness of TCAs with depression and anxiety, as well as fibromyalgia and chronic pain, a number are $4 drugs, I wanted to become more conversant with effectiveness, side effects, half life, metabolites, P450 enzyme inhibition/induction. Put in "TCA, review, neurobiology, tricyclic antidepressants" in Pubmed and not much in the way of satisfying results. And many of my attendings are too young to have any significant clinical usage of these meds. Any plenary or good reviews anyone could suggest would be much appreciated. Thanks.
