anyone seen any TDRs yet (total disc replacement)?
I've seen a few so far in my clerkship. Very, very, cool procedure. (the rest of the procedures are pretty damn interesting, as well... plus it helps that the group that I'm working with is enthusiastic about teaching).
Apparently TDRs have been in use since 1987 in Europe but just got approved this year in the US. (according to the DePuy guy).
